Michael has over twenty-five (25) years of legal practice experience in the area of Banking & Finance, Corporate & Commercial and Conveyancing (Property) legal practice and has acted in matters involving many of Kenya’s leading and midsized banks and leading corporates and multinationals in a variety of transactions from typical secured lending transactions to complex cross border and syndicated banking and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions involving local and multinationals and advising high-net-worth individuals on investments, estate planning and succession matters.

Michael has been involved in business legal advice for various group and holding companies especially in the areas of real estate developments, and investors in industrial and leisure industries advising and acting in acquisitions, restructuring and redevelopments of leading brands and leading players on the Kenyan real estate market.

Michael is often sought out as an advisor for investors looking for startup and expansion capital and has been involved in the funding structuring, including advising on debt and equity raising of leading real estate and tech businesses.
